What size beds are in the bedrooms?

Currently we have a double, a king, and 2 super kings (E.U. sizes), In USA sizes we have a double, a queen and 2 king size beds.

Do we need to bring our own linens and towels?

No, this is all provided along with the basic supplies such as toilet paper, soap, kitchen towels, cleaning supplies, etc.

Do you have an outdoor BBQ and stove?

Yes, we have both available for your use.

Do you have a crib (cot) and highchair?

Yes, they are available upon request

Do you have a hairdryer?

Yes, and a dedicated Glam area.

Is there a dedicated office space in the guesthouse?

Yes, in the double bedroom there is a large built-in desk and desk chair.

Are you close to Kinvara?

Yes, less than a 10-minute drive.

Are you close to Galway City?

We are a 30–40-minute drive depending on traffic.

What kind of views do you have?

We sit on Galway Bay and the mouth of Kinvara inlet. We have water on 2 sides. Plus, we have the Clare mountains to one side. We are only a few steps from the waters edge. Hence our name “Beside The Tide.”

Are you close to the Burren?

Yes, we are on the boarder of County Clare so just a short drive from us.

What can we do in the Burren?

Hike the mountains, drive the coast road (The Wild Atlantic Way), visit Hazel Mountain Chocolate Factory, Burren College of Art, Ailwee Caves and Birds of Prey, Doolin Caves, Dunguaire Castle, etc.

Are you close to the Cliffs of Moher?

We are a 60-minute drive to the Cliffs. You also might like to book a boat trip to the Cliffs with Doolin Ferry Co. You can also book a day trip from Galway that will go to the Aran Islands and the Cliffs.

Are you near Connemara and Clifden? 

We can provide you info on a day trip to Clifden and back. We have the info here for you. The round trip will be approximately 4 hours plus stopping times. It is a wonderful day out our guests love.

Can we get a taxi from your BnB?

Limited taxi service is available through Oran Cabs (091)-787-787 is available for groups of 4 or less. Larger groups should pre-book a van with Donoghues in Oranmore, their number is (091) 776 677.
