We are Jimmy and Krissy, your hosts at Beside the Tide.

We came to Ireland 27 years ago. With family living close by in County Clare and Mayo, along with the beautiful scenery, made this the perfect place to build our family home.

Three children, three dogs, seven cats, fifty cows, six horses and a bird have all left us now. We moved into the “granny flat” aka “in-law suite” and began the renovation of the main house. Our previous experience in the hospitality industry gave us a good idea on how to make the accommodation comfortable and beautiful for our guests.
